UKRAINE ~Kiev-St. Volodymyr's Cathedral~

This card shows another wonderful cathedral from Ukraine like all cards that I already received from Alex! This is one of three cathedrals that remained open during the communist era...
Lovely dog stamp too! :D

St Volodymyr's Cathedral is a cathedral in the centre of Kiev. It is one of the city's major landmarks and the mother cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kiev Patriarchy, one of two major Ukrainian Orthodox Churches.
St. Volodymyr's Cathedral, or St. Vladimir's Cathedral, was built in the 19th century to commemorate Volodymyr, or Vladimir.
