Burresheim Castle is located in the Eifel area..Built between the 12th and 17th century. The picturesque castle is quite unique as it has never been captured or destroyed, in contrast to almost all the other castles in this area. Until 1938 many generations of nobleman and their families lived here and collected a wealth of furniture and paintings. And this is the reason why it has been preserved so well over the centuries and is now a fantastic castle to visit.
