This last day of may I received a breathtaking view of the interior of a Cathedral...Immediately I noticed the beautiful blue color (The color is much nicer on the card than on this view)! I read on the intenet that this St. Vladimir Cathedral a "must see" tourist attraction is in Kiev and I certainly believe it...:-)
Saint Vladimir Cathedral is one of the most beautiful temples in Kiev. It was built in the 19th century .Among the most precious frescoes of Saint Vladimir Cathedral are Vasnetsov's works The Baptizing of Kievers, Virgin with the Child, The Baptizing of Vladimir and others.
