Kiev is divided in two parts by the river Dnepr. The bridge (built in 1965)links the old right bank to the new left one. (there are a lot of recreation zones at the left bank).It is an Arch bridge with a tramway, metro rail and road bridge. Before there was a chain bridge, but during world war 2 it was ruined.
