Sent by julie. As of 7 july 2007 Christ the Redeemer was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It 's 39,6m (130 feet) tall, weights 700 tons and is located at the peak of the Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Parc overlooking the city Rio De Janeiro.
