NEW ZEALAND ~ Mirror Lakes - Fiordland National Park - UNESCO ~

...  A great sunrise view... the lakes are famous for their still, reflective water known for creating spectacular mirror-like reflections of the Earl Mountains... one of new zealand's most iconic natural attractions... a visit to the Mirror Lakes involves walking along a wooden boardwalk dotted with viewing platforms... the view from the wooden platforms is pretty awesome and you have the opportunity to spot native birds... the Mirror Lakes are safeguarded by international regulations and are part of the global network of Protected Sites...Thanks a lot Susan!
