... Many lovely views of the beautiful and historic town of St. George’s... the oldest surviving English town in the New World... and my second postcard ever from this exotic island after collecting for over 10 years nowđđ... make a step back in time... this well-preserved charming town and nearby fortress are a haven for British colonial architecture, which features brightly painted stones and masonry buildings... you can also visit Tobacco Bay Beach, a popular pink sand beach and an excellent spot for snorkeling... Big Thanks Andrene! \_(♥‿♥)_/
Bermuda is a British overseas territory located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It consists of 138 islands that form a fishhook-shaped landmass. Bridges and causeways connect the eight largest islands.
St. George's Parish is one of the nine parishes of Bermuda. It is named in honour of the patron saint of England, though it is indirectly regarded as being named for the founder of the Bermuda colony, Englishman Admiral Sir George Somers.
In 2000, the Historic Town of St. George and its Related Fortifications became a UNESCO WHS site.

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean, some 600 miles to the east of North Carolina. So it is not a part of the Caribbean islands, located much more to the south.
The British Overseas Territories are those parts of the former British Empire that have not acquired independence, or have voted to remain British territories. While each has its own internal leadership, they share the British Queen Elizabeth II as head of state.
Somerset Island is one of the main islands of the chain that makes up Bermuda, and lies in the far west of the territory. The small village of Somerset lies in the northern part of the island located in Sandys Parish. It also includes Boaz Island, Ireland Island and Watford Island. They are all connected by bridges and serviced by buses and ferries.
