With lovely flag stamps:The U.S. Postal Service continues its tradition of honoring the Stars and Stripes with the issue of the Four Flags (Forever serie) stamps, this ones represents "Equality-Liberty and Freedom".
Thunder over Louisville is the opening ceremonie for the Kentucky Derby Festival.
It is the world's largest fireworks display

Ben and...???

Louisville is a major city and the largest city in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It is situated at the Falls of the Ohio, at the Kentucky-Indiana border.
The city is well known for horse racing (the Kentucky Derby has been held there since 1875).
It is home to the American Printing House for the Blind, the world's largest publisher of books in Braille, and the Kentucky School for the Blind. The University of Louisville was the first city-owned university in the U.S., founded in 1798, and the Louisville Free Public Library was one of the first public systems in the country.

USA ~Kentucky~

Again a new UNESCO card from Ukraine arrived today with beautiful stamps.... The colors of this nightview are so beautiful!
And from the USA "The Old Kentucky Home". I looked on the internet to listen to the song, I did remember it... (Found a great version from Jonhy Cash, one of my favorite artists! ^__^ )

Federal Hill, built in 1795 is known all over the world as "My Old Kentucky Home". The beautiful old mansion is open to visitors year round. In 1852, while a guest here, Stephen Collins Foster, was inspired to write his immortal song, "My Old Kentucky Home."
